Momentum Dyslexia Screener
The Momentum Dyslexia Screener, part of the Savvas Momentum Assessment Suite, is a Grades K-3 screener for reading difficulties like Dyslexia. It is based on the screener portion of TPRI, a widely used early-reading assessment based on decades of research. We've digitized their paper-and-pencil test into an interactive online conversation with Max, a friendly blue avatar. The test takes no more than 5 minutes to complete.
What Is Dyslexia?
Dyslexia is a common learning disorder that affects reading, spelling, writing, and sometimes speaking. It’s not related to vision or intelligence but a neurological condition where the brain processes written words differently. Early detection is crucial for timely intervention that helps manage dyslexia effectively and improves reading skills, reducing its impact on a child's life.
