Savvas Learning Company Honored With Two Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence
PARAMUS, N.J. — October 23, 2020 — Savvas Learning Company, a K-12 next-generation learning solutions leader, is proud to announce that its award-winning learning management system, Savvas Realize™, and its groundbreaking high school interactive history series, Project Imagine: World History, have each earned a Tech & Learning 2020 Award of Excellence.
“Savvas is a leader in meeting the distance learning needs of teachers and their students by combining captivating digital content with one of the edtech industry’s most versatile and accessible learning management systems,” said Bethlam Forsa, CEO of Savvas Learning Company. “We are excited to see Savvas Realize and Project Imagine honored for engaging students and empowering teachers with inspired learning solutions.”
Tech & Learning’s Awards of Excellence program recognizes products that are unique in the K-12 market, help schools solve specific problems, and drive innovation during a challenging time for education. Its panel of judges recognized Savvas for creating products that improve the way educators work and students learn.
Savvas Realize is a one-stop K-12 digital platform that is home to more than 850 instructional programs across all subject areas and grade levels, integrated with Google Classroom, and accessible with a single sign-on, either in the classroom or a remote setting. Commented the judges: “It caters to students of all learning styles and abilities and provides the assistance they need to be successful.”
Project Imagine: World History, the second in a series that has garnered a total of ten interactive awards, is a digital program that allows students to experience history through fully immersive activities and compelling primary sources that recapture the drama of history and make it personal for every student. “Project Imagine: World History’s interactive learning curriculum places the student into historical times and delivers an experience like no other,” noted the Tech & Learning judging panel.
“For over 40 years, Tech & Learning has reported on how edtech products are improving teaching and learning — and this has never been more important than during this unprecedented time,” said Christine Weiser, publisher of Tech & Learning. “For this year’s contest, our judges looked for stand-out products that are helping schools navigate these challenges by solving problems and driving innovation.”
